Emmett is the official mascot of Dog-eared Designs, and maybe also the PR Director. I rescued him from the Bellevue, Washington Humane Society in August 2003. Between three and four million cats and dogs are euthanized by animal shelters in the US each year -- which is about half the number brought in. There's really no excuse not to spay or neuter your pet.
